Prophecies: Ask and Draw

We wouldn't be able to understand loads of Old Testament prophecies if we didn't read them with the understanding that they were fulfilled in the coming of Jesus. What was it like, for Isaiah's listeners for example, to hear about the sign of Emanuel's birth? When it's often even hard for us, we often get lost and misunderstand what it actually means that God is with us.

Reading the Old Testament prophecies together with their fulfillment in the New Testament is very refreshing for me. It allows me to ask new questions, think about different connections, take my coloring pencils and draw. This is my way of thinking and reflecting. And I would like to invite you to join me for this journey.
